Jana Marine Services sign MoU with Juman/Emirates E&I

Juman Energy Group signed an MoU with Jana Marine Services to expand their EE&I products and services geographically into Saudi Arabia.

Established in 2013, Jana Marine Services is an exclusively-owned subsidiary of Rashed Al-Rashed & Sons Group. JMS’s major areas of expertise and services are Marine logistics, topside maintenance, offshore wellhead tie-ins, upgrade & modification, supply of offshore equipment and skilled staff, specialized fabrication work, expertise on preassembly, installation, and commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical works.

JMS holds a recently signed long-term framework contract with Saudi Aramco and has been looking to expand its electrical and instrumentation work services for this contract. Hence, Juman has started to explore their mutual interests.
With a dynamic view to provide prompt and efficient services to complement the drive of Oil & Gas companies in the region, most notably Saudi Aramco, JMS is based in Al Khobar (KSA) and operates independently with its in-house resources for provision and management of contracted services.
Under the MoU, JMS and Juman Energy have committed to further exploring and establishing collaboration for EE&I to assist JMS on all E&I EPC works under JMS’s framework agreement with Saudi ARAMCO. Further expansion and cooperation with GCG were also agreed upon with the eventual set-up of a Joint Venture for activities in Saudi Arabia.
There will also be opportunities to increase secondment in JANA MARINE SERVICES SIGN MoU WITH JUMAN other tenders with Saudi Aramco and Juman has already started to work with JMS on these in parallel.

The MoU was signed during the ADIPEC exhibition conference in November and witnessed by Mr. Mohammed Alsubaie and our former CEO, Niels Bormans.

The collaboration between both companies seeks to tap into a new strategic partnership, identifying areas for joint development using each other’s expertise. The association is supported by Saudi ARAMCO, who asked JMS to seek a partnership for E&I works to strengthen their portfolio and bridge the gap within the existing framework agreement they are executing.
The parties have commenced a comprehensive strategic partnership and will immediately start establishing a final agreement in conjunction with the vendor registration for EE&I with Saudi ARAMCO.
It is exciting to have a technical and local partner of the scale and caliber of JMS offering to substantially increase the Group’s involvement in the Saudi Arabian market for EE&I. Juman Energy is looking forward to further strengthening this new strategic alliance with JMS for the Group.
